Meet the Team

Erin McCallum
Principal
In her spare time, Erin is an active volunteer and philanthropist with several nonprofit and community organizations. As a fourth-generation Washingtonian born and raised in Yakima, she gets inspiration from her husband Dave, their three children, and the many animals on their North Bend farm. If you enjoy hiking, biking, canoeing, horseback riding, and/or any type of skiing, that’s where you’ll find her in her spare time

Erin McCallum has more than 30 years of expertise in the public and private sector, fundraising and advocating. She is a proven leader in the nonprofit and political fundraising community and is adept at effectively engaging and motivating campaign leadership and volunteers in securing lead and major gifts while helping to direct and oversee all fundraising and advocacy components.
Erin has an impressive record in fundraising and has extensive experience helping organizations of all sizes; including start-ups, to advance their development programs. She has effectively inspired and worked alongside board members, volunteers, and staff so fundraising goals are met on time and on budget. Her strong skills in strategic planning, team building, major gifts, sponsorships, fundraising, special events, and direct mail, have earned her an outstanding reputation in the region. Her ability to work with diverse audiences has proven to be an asset for her clients.
Erin formed her firm, BA$ICS by McCallum in 1998 when her three children were growing up so she could balance being a mom (the greatest and most rewarding job) while continuing to work and serve the community. Her business grew successfully allowing her to work with nonprofit organizations and their boards to help them achieve fundraising goals for capital, annual operating, and special projects. In 2005 she returned to nonprofit leadership roles where she has served since 2022.
Erin’s work continues to focus on the Pacific Northwest nonprofit community, providing valuable fundraising counsel for individuals and advocacy issues that are important to Washington State.
Scout the “fab lab” is our resident office pet. When she is not greeting clients with a smile and a tail wag, you will find her sleeping on the floor dreaming of her next hike or squirrel she can chase.
